I found James and Terry through a Facebook recommendation when I was looking for someone to cater our rehearsal dinner. We scheduled a tasting with them at our apartment's club house and I was immediately impressed by how much thought they put into something so simple. We showed up at the scheduled time and they had laid out place mats, flowers, plates and silverware. They even brought us water to cleanse our palate between different foods. There were only two of us but they brought so much food for us to taste (and let us keep the leftovers) that we had enough for lunch for two days after our tasting!

Their food was absolutely AMAZING! My personal favorite was the baked beans but everything they have ever made for us has been out of this world good. After tasting their food and comparing it to a few others, there was no doubt they were the clear winner.

Every guest at our rehearsal dinner RAVED about how good the food was. Even some of our guests from NJ were asking how they could get it sent back home. I'm certain their food actually out shined the food we served at our wedding.

James is an incredibly talented chef and can cook you an amazing dish no matter if you want BBQ, Greek, Italian or some other cuisine. He catered my company's Thanksgiving feast and everyone raved about the fried turkeys he made (Cajun, Garlic Butter and Jalapeno). The smoked ham was a stand out as well!

His wife, Terry, runs the business side and she's an absolute pleasure to work with as well. If ever there are two people you wish to see succeed, it's them. Don't let the name fool you, Hard Smoke BBQ can handle your catering needs for any event at a reasonable price!

I have placed orders with them for our office party's several times. I have ordered BBQ to pasta. Whatever I ask for I get! They go above and beyond making sure that everything meets my needs. The most recent order I requested was an Italian lunch and it was AMAZING!!!!!! They brought the food to the office and that is what I love. I come from a family full of Italians so don’t tell them that I think it was better than my mother’s cooking. I can’t say enough good things about them. I do recommend if you have not tried their other offerings outside of BBQ do so.

We got the Cajun turkey, stuffing, potatoes, green beans, gravy and pumpkin pie. It was AMAZING we ate so much and couldn't stop. I would HIGHLY recommend Hard Smoke BBQ, thank you James.

I must say my sister is the biggest food critic and she LOVED the food her response was omg wow. We ate so much we couldn't move. Definitely will be ordering a lot from Hard Smoke BBQ!

I got the smoked ham as we had a turkey in the works. Should have ordered the Cajun Butter Turkey as well. The entire meal is AWESOME!!! The homemeade dressing is extrememely delicious, you will want extra!! I got mashed potatoes, green beans, real cranberry sauce (Best Ever!), and Giblet Gravy you would like to bathe in. Everything I have tried is very good. They use the freshest ingredients and tried and true cooking techniques that have been mastered over time. Great quality food prepared with great care by exceptional people.

OMG Hard Smoked BBQ is amazing!! I ordered a Thanks Giving meal for my family, with all of the fixins and my family raved about it. Everyone said the same thing..."This tastes like my mother's cooking!" I have ordered catering from other places in the past and never got the deliciousness that I got from Hard Smoked BBQ. The owners James and Terry are so nice and friendly...they even delivered it to me and I live in Irving. SO IF YOU WANT GOOD SOUTHERN COOKED FOOD THAT TASTES LIKE YOUR MOTHERS CALL HARD SMOKED BBQ...I promise you won't be dissatisfied
